Norma Jane Miller 88, Macy

Norma Jane Miller 88, Macy (Nyona Lake), Indiana, went home to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:30 A.M. Sunday September 22, 2019 at her residence.

 

She was born on September 19, 1931 in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of Al and Lois Francis (Shoemaker) Glassburn. On May 16, 1959 in Fulton, Indiana, she married Jack A. Miller and he survives. She grew up in the Kokomo and Nyona Lake, Indiana areas. After her husband’s retirement they moved to Brooksville, Florida residing there for thirty two years before moving back to Nyona Lake in 2012.

 

Mrs. Miller had worked at the former Reliance Haynes Stellite and Delco Remy. She had been a member of the First Baptist Church and First Assembly of God Church, both in Florida and House of Faith, Mexico, Indiana. She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 1684 for over thirty eight years, Nyona South Mud Lake Booster’s Association. She enjoyed flowers, cats, hummingbirds, games and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Jack A. Miller, Nyona Lake, Indiana, daughters, Debra Garrard,  Kimberly (Daniel) Smith,  Crytsal (Russell) Bradley, all of Nyona Lake, Indiana, step-sons, Rick Kelley, Abilene, Texas, Kirk (Kay) Kelley, Justin, Texas, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild, sisters, Phyllis Mills, Homosassa, Florida, Carol (Dr. Larry) Bond, Frankfort, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Misty Kelley, brother, James Glassburn, nephew, Scott Bond, and sister-in-law, Beverly Biddle.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 26, 2019 at Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center. Arrangements by Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.
