Jerry Allen Zolman, 71, of rural Mentone

Jerry Allen Zolman, 71, of rural Mentone passed unexpectedly at 8:06 pm, Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 at his residence.

Jerry was born on Feb. 14, 1948 in Warsaw, Indiana to the late Carl D. and Emma W. (Kepler) Zolman. He married on March 11, 1967 in Warsaw, Indiana to Connie J. East, she survives.

He worked for UPS in earlier years and then for Sprint North Supply for over 20 years. He retired from Zimmer Orthopedic in 2013.

He was a 1966 graduate of Mentone High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Jerry was a former member of the Mentone Lions Club and the former Mentone American Legion. He attended the Warsaw Community Church.

He enjoyed keeping book and stats for the girls and boys basketball programs at Tippecanoe Valley and had been involved for over 22 years. He was a regular at Teel’s Restaurant socializing with many good friends. He was always a big sports fan and loved fishing with his grandkids. He also enjoyed golfing, hunting, and traveling. Jerry lived life to the fullest.

Son – Aaron and wife Kacie Zolman – Warsaw, Ind.
Brother - John and wife Sue Zolman - Mentone, Ind.
Grandchildren – Dayton and wife Tisha, Emmalee, Taylor, Olivia,
Tanner, Gwen, Gia, and Gentry
Nephews and Nieces - Chris, Tina, Chad, Angie, Bruce, Melissa, and Chris

Infant Son - Brent
Infant Brother and an Infant Sister
Father-in-law and Mother-in-law - Harold and Mary East

The funeral service will be at 10:30 am, Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana.

The burial will take place following the funeral service in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.

Visitation hours will be from 2 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 at King Memorial Home, Mentone, Indiana.
