Ronald J. Kochel, 76, of Walton, IN passed away at 4:25 PM Monday, March 2, 2020 at Logansport Memorial Hospital in Logansport, IN.  Ronald was born on March 5, 1943 in Logansport to the late James and Grace DeWitt Kochel.  He graduated from Royal Center High School in 1961.  Ronald served in the Army National Guard.  On May 17, 1968, Ronald married Phyllis M. Nolting in Logansport.

Ronald retired from Chrysler in Kokomo, IN in 1995 after working there for 30 years.  He was member of the UAW Local #685.   He was also a member of the NRA and the L’Anguille Practical Pistol League in Twelve Mile, IN.   Ron enjoyed working on his farm in Royal Center, IN and enjoyed collecting old tractors.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM EST Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN with Pastor Carolyn DeWitt officiating.  The American Legion and VFW will conduct Military Graveside Services. 

Burial will take place at Winamac Cemetery in Winamac, IN.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Walton United Methodist Church in Walton, IN.
