William Henry "Bill" Long, 92, lifelong farmer from Monon, IN passed away at 2:11 PM Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home surrounded by his children. Bill was born on September 3, 1927 in rural Francesville, IN to the late William and Mabel [Wren] Long. Bill was a 1945 graduate of Francesville High School. On June 11, 1949, he married Alma M. Gastineau in Francesville. She passed away on January 20, 2011.
Bill was a member of St. James Salem United Church of Christ in Francesville. He was a member of Royal Center Lodge #585 F&AM and the Scottish Rite. Bill received his Award of Gold on November 12, 2013.
Bill farmed in Pulaski County and White County his entire life. He raised cattle and hogs. Bill enjoyed helping his children and grandchildren raise their champion 4-H pigs. He loved the outdoors, especially gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM EDT Saturday, 22, 2020 Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN with Pastor Jeff Messer and Pastor Nelda Seger officiating.
Burial will take place at Roseland Cemetery in Francesville, IN.
