Ruth E. Utter, 58

Mrs. Ruth E. Utter, 58, of Rochester passed away with her devoted husband Todd at her bedside at 1:12 AM, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Woodlawn Hospital.

On March 27, 1962, Ruth Elizabeth Beeker, was born in Jersey City, NJ.  She was the treasured daughter of James and Sylvia Przbysz Beeker.  Growing up she shared her childhood with two brothers.  At the age of 5, the family moved to Arizona.  In 1980, Ruth graduated from Apollo High School in Glendale, AZ.

In Phoenix, Arizona, Ruth married the love of her life, Mr. Todd Robert Utter on September 14, 1991. They have shared 29 years of life’s adventures. Quietly they dedicated their lives to each other, always together whether working in their garden or taking s ride to town.  

As a homemaker, Ruth cherished time with her family and enjoyed visiting her parents in Phoenix.  She relished the time she spent playing with Tasha Marie, her K9 kid. She enjoyed the fresh air and being outside to take care of the garden. When the harvest arrived, Todd and Ruth shared the produce with family and special friends. The Chicago PD television show was a favorite, but she enjoyed most exciting crime and criminal shows.

For her daily devotions, Ruth watched Joyce Meyer Ministries.  She also owned a small library of Meyer's devotional books.  On Sundays, she worshiped with Adrian Rogers or Charles Stanley.

Left to cherish Ruth's memory are her husband Todd, daughter Krystal Costello and husband John, parents James and Sylvia Beeker all of Phoenix, AZ two brothers Jimmy Beeker of Memphis, TN, Danny Beeker and wife Karen of Phoenix, AZ,   father-in-law Morse Utter Sr, two brothers-in-law Morse Utter Jr and Bill Utter and wife Tammy, her canine companion Tasha Marie the German Shepherd and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Ruth in death is her mother-in-law Patricia Utter, sister-in-law Frances Utter.

A celebration of the life of Mrs. Ruth E. Utter will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2020, in the Good Family Funeral Home 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.  (MASKS are REQUIRED for entry) Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.  Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Fulton County Animal Adoption and Education Center, 1540 Wentzel Street, Rochester, IN  46975.  Electronic expressions of sympathy may be made to her family at www.goodfamilyfh.com .
