Gary Lee "Spike" Bowers, 56

Gary Lee "Spike" Bowers, 56, of  Marshtown (Kewanna) passed away at 10:28 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

On July 27, 1964, Gary Lee was born in Wauseon OH to Keith and Sherian Bingman Bowers.     In 1983, he graduated from Rochester High School.

An American sportsman, Gary hunted deer and trapped muskrat, fox, coon and beaver.  He was a huge Ohio State University fan, always following his beloved Buckeyes with great intensity.   To relax he listened to heavy metal.

Left to cherish Gary's memory are his mother Sherian Pearson; son, Parker Thompson, daughter Ripley White, both of Rochester; four sisters Pamela Bowers-Adams and husband Leo of Urbana, OH, Barbara Garringer and companion Mike Walkowicz of Tippecanoe, Jackie Tate and husband Ray of Fayette, OH, Alice Hollstein of West Unity, OH; three brothers Craig Bowers of Bryan, OH, Neal Bowers-Springer and companion Jared Allen of Kokomo, Warren Pearson Jr and wife Laura of Houston, TX and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Gary in death are his dad, Warren Pearson Sr. on July 7, 2006, son Jesse Lee Bowers on September 20, 2017, brother Danny Pearson in November 2019, brother-in-law Robert Hollstein, niece Rhonda Van Dyke, nephews Christopher Pearson and Mick Frisbie, grandparents, Audrey Bailey, Curt Bailey, Sharon Schwartz, Toby Warner, Elvin Bingman and Grace Bingman.
