Paula F. Sloat of rural Rochester

Paula F. Sloat of rural Rochester, Indiana passed at 1:00 pm, Friday, Nov. 27, 2020 at her daughter’s residence.

Paula was born on Sept. 24, 1942 to Willis Roby and Ellen Arlene (Murray) Fairchild. She was 78 years young when she passed.

She was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, (Johnson County) Paula,met and married the father of her two children Amos H. Litteral. They married on Dec. 28, 1957 and later divorced in 1969, but remained friends till his death.

Paula lived her life to the fullest. She loved shopping, baking, making Christmas candy, crafts, and reading. She loved and cherished her cat Shammy.

She leaves behind her daughter Gwen Liming and husband Karl; step son Jeff Giesige; grandchildren Thomas Litteral (Kathy)Marion,Ohio granddaughter,Jaime Frantom (Jeff)Akron,Indiana great grandchildren, Anthony Litteral (Christina),Marion,Ohio, Rose Litteral (Christian),Marion,Ohio, Devin Howard(Trinity) Akron,Indiana, Zander Howard; step grandson Shawn Frantom,Akron,Indiana, great great grandchildren Skarlette Litteral, and Greysyn Litteral; brothers Phillip and Michael Sadler Wabash; a special brother; Wayne and wife Avanell Litteral Falcon,Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roby Fairchild and Arlene VanHoose; son Hank Lonnie Litteral; sisters Francis Osborne, Brenda Honeycutt, Teresa Honeycutt, Sheila Honeycutt, and Mag Luttrell,brothers Victor (Tiny) Sadler and Lee Fairchild.

A memorial service for Paula will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at the The House of Prayer Church 15113 State Road 114 Akron, Indiana with Pastor Danny Honeycutt officiating.

Friends and family may gather and share a time of fellowship and reflection before the service at 1:00 pm.
