On April 28, 1943, Gordon Lee was born in Logansport to Raymond O. and Margaret M. Casper Tatman. Growing up near Royal Center he shared his childhood with a sister, Lois.  Gordon was a member of the Royal Center High School Class of 1961.

As a butcher, Gordon worked at Wilson's of Logansport for 26 years.  He later moved to Elkhart where he was responsible for shipping for Sun Downer trailers.  Rochester has been his home for the past nine years.  While in Rochester, he enjoyed going to the Senior Center.
