Deborah Lou (Rogers) Flannery, 71, rural Denver

Deborah Lou (Rogers) Flannery, 71, rural Denver, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at her residence. 

 

Born June 27 1949, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Paul H. Rogers and the former Ruth L. Miller.   On June 18, 1978, in Peru, Indiana, she was married to Dean Wayne Flannery, and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2011.

 

She was a graduate of Bound Brook High School in Bound Brook, New Jersey, and she worked alongside her husband Dean in their businesses Machine Company and Lanjax Trophies and Engravings, both in rural Denver. 

 

Survivors include her two sons, Donn Fredrick Whitenight and his wife Laura, Rochester; and Jason Scott Whitenight, Lafayette; six grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakota, Cherokee, Caitlyn, Emily, and Alexis Whitenight; two great-grandchildren, Bella and Evie Whitenight; and five siblings, Steve (Eileen) Siegel, Kathie (Rick) Cleveland, Marsha (Bill) Carrescia, John (Karen) Siegel, and Jim (Stacey) Siegel, all of Pennsylvania.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with family friend Mike Sheehan officiating.  

 

Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.
