Edith R. Browning, Rochester

Edith R. Browning, Rochester, passed away at noon on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne.

 

Born October 10, 1957 in Baltimore Maryland, she was the daughter of Lloyd Lambert, Sr., and the former Ethel Thomas Lambert.  She had worked at United Technologies, which became Lear Corporation, and also as a bartender at Putt’s Bar and Grill and the Fulton Pub.  She enjoyed playing Bingo on her phone and spending time with her canine companions.  She was a member of the Macy Christian Church, Macy, Indiana. 

 

Survivors include one daughter, Denella (Maya)  Garcia, Watkins, Iowa; one step-daughter, Sandra russet, Bremen, Indiana; grandchildren, Sage Smith, Watkins, Iowa; Alysina Carillo, Quincy, Illinois; Tabitha (Felipe) Olivares, Twelve Mile, Indiana ; and Noah Nick, Watkins, Iowa; siblings, Susan (Dave) Shambarger, Macy; Allen Lambert, Rochester; John (Holly) Cattin, Mexico; Larry (Andrea) Cattin, Macy; Pam Harper, Winamac; Glen (Karen) Cattin, Winamac; and companion, James Miniear, Macy; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Lamber; mother and step-father, Ethel and Richard Cattin, and five siblings, Cindy Cattin, Lloyd Lambert, Mike Lambert, Debra Yerk, and Lennie Lambert; and one niece, Jessica Lambert.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Dave Welsh and Skip Shambarger officiating.  

 

Burial will follow in Five Corners Cemetery, rural Macy.

 

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directed to McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, to assist with final expenses.
