Nancy S. Wagoner 79, Bremen, Indiana and formerly of Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 1:40 A.M. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Signature Health Care of Bremen, Indiana.
She was born on July 27, 1941 in Kokomo, Indiana and graduated from Tipton High School in 1959. She had been married to Frederick Wagoner and he had preceded her in death in 2001.
Nancy retired from working two full time jobs at O’Malia’s Food Markets in the deli and had been shift manager at Taco Bell both of Carmel, Indiana. Nancy had made many “family” relationships with regular customers. Before that she had worked for Hart, Schaffner & Marx in Rochester for twenty one years.
Nancy was always a very hard worker. In her earlier years she always had a garden full of vegetables, planted many flowers, canned tomato juice and made homemade grape jelly from the grape vines in her yard. She was always on the go taking her daughter, Jeanie, to all her sporting practices and games and all her clubs, girl scouts, 4-H, etc. over the years. Nancy also enjoyed making crafts and sewing. After retirement, you could always see her out walking.
Left to cherish her memories, are a daughter, Jeanie Griffith, Plymouth, Indiana, grandson, Cody Griffith, Plymouth, Indiana, brothers, Jerry Coy, Sheridan, Indiana, Mike (Janet) Coy, Sheridan, Indiana, sister, Kathy (David) Eaton, Greenwood, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marceille Coy in 1995.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 17, 2021, at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.
Friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rochester, Indiana.
