Eileen Davis, 80, of Rochester, passed away at 12:36 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2021 at her residence.
On March 30, 1941, Eileen was born to O.C. and Dora Craft Howard. As the youngest of eight children, she shared her childhood with four brothers and three sisters.
Eileen and John Robert Davis were married on March 24, 1961 in Rochester, they have shared 60 years of life’s adventures.
Left to cherish the memories of Eileen are her husband, John, two daughters Penny Wentzel of Rochester, Lana Kocher and husband Keith of Shelbyville; four grandchildren John D. Wentzel, 2nd Lt. Keith Kocher Jr, Charles Kocher, Benjamen Kocher; three brothers Harold Howard of Rochester, Paul Howard of Rochester, Carl Howard of Macy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Eileen in death are her parents, three sisters Betty Miller, Finette Rudd, Thelma Rudd, brother Junior Bailey and Blackie the long-haired Dachshund.
A celebration of the life of Eileen Davis will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Pastor Wanda Carter will officiate.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-7 PM on Monday, June 28, 2021 and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Athens Hoover Cemetery.
