Morgan Ivey Hite, 32, of Tacoma, Washington, and formerly of Akron, Indiana passed on June 6, 2021, at Tacoma General Hospital.

Morgan was born on June 3, 1989, in Rochester, Indiana to Eric Damron and Katrina Hite. In years past she attended church at Faith Outreach Center of Rochester and Youth at the Akron Church of God. She was a 2008 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School, where she played softball.

She had worked for Viking Foods of Akron and Rumors Nite Club of Rochester. Then Morgan moved to Washington, which was in 2014. She was always very social and enjoyed laughing and having fun. She liked to sing, play music, and read.

Morgan will be missed by her children Camden, Zaiden, Avery, and Skyler; her parents Katrina and husband Scott Franklin and Eric and wife Lori Damron; siblings Ethan Smith and girlfriend Abby, Griffin Smith, Alexis and husband Alex Hale, and Josiah Damron; and grandparents Maryann Frey and Paula Damron.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Earl Damron and Adria Martinez.

A memorial service will take place at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron, Indiana with Pastor Terry Baldwin officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 pm to the time of the service.

Morgan’s interment will take place in the Akron Cemetery, Akron, Indiana next to her grandmother.
