Patrick John Leslie, 67, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 9:51 P.M. Friday December 31, 2021 at his residence with the love of family at his side.

Don’t cry for me just always remember that I am now free.

He was born on September 14, 1954 in Hastings, Minnesota, the son of Ralph and Betty (Morgan) Leslie.

Mr. Leslie had been a truck driver throughout his career working for DART Trucking and Transport America. In his spare time.  He had a passion for cars.  He liked working on them, taking them to car shows, racing and also collecting many diescast replica models. The only passion greater than that is the endless love he has for his grandchildren.  As they would say “papa rocks!” Spending time with his grandchildren is what he lived and fought for.

Survivors include his children, Melinda Cuper, Blaine, Minnesota, Jackie Cummins (Matt Brown), Rochester, Indiana, Ryan (Megan) Leslie, Logansport, Indiana, nine grandchildren, Skyler Sullivan, Zane Cummins, Brantlee Cummins, Matthew Brown, Matilyn Brown, Jesse Brown, Alexis Brown, Cody Cuper, Tyler Cuper, siblings, Colin Leslie, Minnesota, Perry Leslie, Michigan, Judy Mead, Indiana, William Leslie, Arizona, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may visit from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana.
