Billy "Bill" Don Cook, 64, of Rochester

Billy “Bill” Don Cook, 64, of Rochester, lost his battle to cancer on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On June 19, 1957, Billy was born in Logansport to Howard D. and Carolyn S. Boehme Cook. Growing up he shared his childhood with three sisters and three brothers. In 1975, he graduated from Caston High School. Answering the call of patriotism, Bill served with the US Army and National Guard.

Bill loved going to yard sales looking for unique treasures. He collected anything to do with his favorite team, the Colts. Playing the Hoosier Lottery, whether it was the daily three, powerball or a scratch-off, was a weekly event for Bill.

As a welder, Bill worked in Logansport for Universal Fire Apparatus and at Olympic Fiberglass of Rochester.

Left to cherish the memories of Bill are his son, Dustin Cook and wife Amber of Vincennes; parents, Howard and Carolyn Cook of Rochester; a sister, Chris Cook of Pierceton; three brothers, Bob Cook, Dean Cook, David Rigney, all of Rochester; canine companion, Sissy and Buddy Beamer and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bill in death are two sisters, Cathy Cook on June 9, 2018 and Cindy Cook on June 17, 2019.

There will be no services, per his wishes.

The Good Family Funeral Home of Rochester has been entrusted with the arrangements.
