Victoria Ann Bartlett,  72,  of Rochester

Victoria Ann Bartlett,  72,  of Rochester, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at 4:00 PM Friday, March 18, 2022.

 

Born on August 28, 1949 in Logansport, Victoria Ann Gates was a treasured daughter of Thomas and Marsha Dillman Gates.  Growing up she shared her childhood with two sisters and a brother. Viki graduated from Rochester High School in 1968.

 

On August 11, 1979 Viki married the love of her life, Mr. James Maurice Bartlett.  Together they enjoyed over 42 years of life's adventures.  From their union came a trio of beautiful daughters.  The family tree continued to grow with the blessings of two more generations.

 

Viki was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.  Many will remember her as a medical receptionist at Woodlawn Hospital.

 

To relax Viki watched true crime shows on TV while sipping on her favorite drink lemonade.  She and Jim took several summer vacations to fish the lakes of Minnesota.  Their favorite destination was Big Moose Lake, MN.  She also played slot machine games on her phone.

 

Left to cherish Viki's memory our her husband Jim at home; 3 daughters: Michele Arnett of Rochester, Melinda Navara (Joe) of Akron, Bridget Bartlett and fiancé David Fox of Rochester; 7 grandchildren:  Jessamyn McClure (T.J.), Devon Vanraalte, Kayleen Vannostrand and companion Jeremiah Carpenter, twins Austin Razer and Skyler Razer, Kaili Navara, Taylor Navara;  6 great-grandchildren: Imana, Amara, Jacob James, Mia, Luna, Esmaye; 2 sisters: Terry Gates of Talma and Jennie Bradley (Jake) of Rochester; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are her treasured canines Poindexter James, the handsome Jack Russell Terrier and grand dog Axl Slash, the French Mastiff.

 

Preceding Viki in death are her parents Tom and Marsha Gates, infant son James Thomas Bartlett and a brother Ernie Gates.

 

A celebration of the life of Mrs. Viki Bartlett will be held at a time to be announced soon.
