Alyce Cassandra Dale, age 48, Akron, died on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Stillwater Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on July 12, 1973 in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada to Tedd W. and Barbara M. (Daniels) Curry.  Alyce lived in Akron for 16 years coming from Superior, Wisconsin.

Alyce had worked at the Argos and Rochester McDonalds, KFC and Subway in Rochester.  She was also employed by Fairmont Homes in Nappanee, Indiana.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping.

Surviving Alyce is her partner: Laura Watson of Akron; (5) children: Stoney Dale of Akron; Francis Dale of Peru; Yolanda Dale of New York; Amanda Watson of Hamlet; Haley Watson of North Judson; (2) sisters: Barbara Curry of South Dakota; Crystal Dirks of Winamac; (2) brothers: Tedd Curry of North Dakota; Bradley (spouse Melissa) Curry of Fairmont, Minnesota; father: Scott Cairns of Superior, Wisconsin; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Preceding Alyce in death were her grandparents, parents, (mother-in-law) Karen Sleighter, (granddaughter) Kali Reed

A gathering of friends and family to honor and remember the life Alyce will be at the Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester Street, Akron, Indiana.  Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
