Paul A. Easterday 62, Rochester, passed away at 3:22 P.M. Monday, May 30, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born on June 9, 1959 in San Diego, California, the son of Robert and Laurice (Edmonds) Easterday. On October 30, 1993, in Preble, Indiana, he married Linda Scott and she survives.
Paul was a member of New Beginnings Glorious Church and previously served as an Associate Pastor at the Old Crossroad Baptist Church. Paul loved to cook and started cooking at the age of 16 years old. He worked cooking at numerous restaurants throughout his career. His hobbies included playing basketball in his younger days and making paper cars.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Easterday, Rochester, Indiana, step children, Danielle (Kybray Little) Scott, Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Scott Dawson, Rochester, Indiana, grandchild, Justin Dawson, Rochester, Indiana, brothers, Charles (May Jo) Easterday, Huntington, Indiana, Art (Tracy) Easterday, Huntington, Indiana, sisters, Laurie (Christopher Martin) Easterday, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mary (Jack) Squier, Huntertown, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A time to celebrate Paul’s life will take place at New Beginnings Glorious Church, Rochester, Indiana, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
