Walter Scobie Sr., 82, of Rochester, passed away at 3:04 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

On June 29, 1939, Walter Edward was born in Kokomo to Eldon Everett and Phyllis Lilly Scobie.

Walter and Sharon Lee Eisler were married on January 1, 1959 in Troy Michigan. They have shared 63 years of life’s adventures.

Left to cherish the memories of Walter are his wife, Sharon; three children: Laura S. “Lori” Riggs (Jack), Tamora “Tammy” Mejia (Amado), Walter E. “Todd” Scobie (Wendy Marie); siblings: Donna Ackerman (Bill), Everett Eldon Scobie, and John Scott Scobie (Cathy).

A celebration of the life of Walter Edward Scobie will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family from 12 noon to 3 PM on Friday.

Military honors will be conducted by the Fulton County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the US Coast Guard Honor’s Team.
