Travis D. Woodcox, 50, of Rochester

Travis D. Woodcox, 50, of Rochester, passed away at his home after a sudden illness, in the early morning of July 23, 2022.

 

On February 1, 1972, Travis Drew was born.  He was a treasured son of Melvin Ben and Eva Marie Reffitt Woodcox.  A lifetime resident of Rochester, he graduated from Rochester High School in 1990.

 

In Rochester, on September 1, 2007,   Travis married the love of his life Stacy Bradley.  They enjoyed 15 years of life's adventures.

 

With a strong work ethic, Travis worked for the Fulton County Solid Waste District for many years.   In earlier years he worked with his cousin Shane at Rochester Boat Company. An avid sports enthusiast, Travis was a die-hard San Fransisco 49er's fan.  He also followed the Baltimore Orioles baseball team. Travis attended the Indianapolis 500 for many years.

 

Bruce and Travis were more than brothers, they were best friends, enjoying nightly chats about cutting edge sports news and anything else that came to their minds. Stacy and Travis shared a love for their canines, breeding and raising beautiful litters of English Mastiffs and Welsh-Pembroke Corgis.

 

Left to cherish Travis' memory are his wife Stacy; siblings: Bruce Woodcox (Wendy), Brett Arnett, Tom Arnett (Barb), John Woodcox, Linda Woodcox Jones; his step-children: Dalton Baillieul, Sydney Shank (Justin) and their children Olivia Johnson and Wren Shank; nephew Braxton Woodcox; cousin Shane Reffitt (Lisa) and their son Jack; and his English Mastiff Zeke. 

 

Preceding Travis in death are his parents Melvin and Eva Woodcox; cousin Shawn Reffitt; and his English Mastiff Mojo.

 

A time to celebrate the life of Travis D. Woodcox will be Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th Street, Rochester, IN  46975. 

 

Keeping with Travis' wishes casual attire is suggested.
