Arthur Leonard “Art” Fox, 93, of Winamac, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
He was born on May 30, 1929 in Indian Creek Township to the late Rudolph J. and Mary Ella [McLochlin] Fox. He attended Pulaski High School.
On December 17, 1949, Art married Ella Jean Mays in Star City. She passed away on January 23, 1983.
On February 14, 1997, Art married Jeanettie Marcella “Sis” [Craig] Galbreath in Winamac. She survives.
Art served in the US Army during the Korean War and was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge. He was a lifetime member, Past Commander, Past Quarter Master, Past Chaplain, and Past Surgeon of Winamac VFW Post #1728. He was also a member of Monterey American Legion Post #399 and Winamac FOE #2580.
Art was retired from Galbreath, Inc. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, shooting pool, playing cards, and socializing. He also enjoyed music and was a talented yodeler. Art loved living on the Tippecanoe River. More than anything, he loved his family and will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EDT Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN. An Eagles Memorial Service will be held that evening at the funeral home around 8 PM.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 AM EDT Friday, August 19, 2022 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Dave Broad officiating.
Burial will take place at Buck Cemetery in Thornhope, IN. The VFW and American Legion will conduct Military Graveside Services.
