Ricky A. White Sr., 66, of Rochester passed away at his home at 5:15 PM, Sunday September 25, 2022.
On October 13, 1955, Ricky Allen White was born in Rochester. He was a treasured son of Walter B. and Mary Catherine Ipock White. Growing up he shared his childhood with 2 sisters Phyllis and Patricia and a brother Daniel. Ricky graduated from Rochester high School with the class of 1973. He went on and served our country with the United States Army. At the time of his honorable discharge, he ascended to the rank of Sergeant. He remained a life-long patriot with a passion for our country, the flag and the American Eagle.
A dedicated employee when working for Federal Mogul, Ricky was a forklift driver, always on the move. To relax he enjoyed drawing, especially creating signs. He read western novels and was an accomplished video gamer.
Left to cherish Ricky's memory are his son Ricky White Jr. of Gary; a sister Patricia Borden; and a brother Daniel White, both of Rochester.
Preceding Ricky in death are his parents Walter and Mary Catherine White, beloved wife Annette and a sister Phyllis Clemans.
A memorial service with United States Army and the Fulton County Veteran's Honor Guard according military honors will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2022 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
