Morris D. Davis, 89, of Rochester, passed away at 6:15 PM on Friday, September 8, 2022 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

On September 25, 1932, Morris Duane Davis was born in Augusta, MI to Charles and Mirna Davis.

Answering the call of patriotism, Morris served with the US Army and was honorably discharged in 1961.

With a strong work ethic, Morris took great pride in his work.  He was a building tech for the Rochester Community Schools working primarily at RHS.

Left to cherish the memories of Morris are two sons, Roger Lee Davis and Mark Duane Davis both of Florida. His friends and work family at Rochester High School.

Preceding Morris in death are his parents.

A celebration of the life of Morris D. Davis will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday. November 9, 2022 at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.  Military honors will be conducted by the Fulton County Veteran’s Honor Guard and the US Army Honors Team. Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery.
