David L. Kuhn, 73, of Mentone, passed at 1:06 am, Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his residence.

David was born August 8, 1949 in Rochester, Indiana to the late Donald and Norma (Williamson) Kuhn. He was previously married to Suzannah (Blodgett) Kuhn.

He was a 1967 graduate of Mentone High School. David had been a parts and service manager at numerous automobile agencies in the area. He had also worked in sales for Culligan of Kokomo. He had served his community, in years past, as a volunteer at the Burket Fire Department. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and watching Westerns, especially Gun Smoke. He was a big fan of Elvis and played saxophone and sang in a rock band.

He is survived by his children Amber Kuhn of Peru, Tiffany and husband Michael "Jamie" Scheffer of Kokomo, and David Dustin Kuhn; 5 Grandchildren; siblings Pamela and husband Darrell Miller of Mentone, Gary and wife Marla Kuhn of Etna Green, Tim and wife Laura Kuhn of Claypool; and step sister Debbie and husband Rodney Clark of Rochester.

David was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother Evelyn Kuhn.

The memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm, Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 at King Memorial Home 101 North Tucker Street Mentone, Indiana where family and friends can share memories.

Memorial visitation will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm, Monday, Jan. 2, 2023 at King Memorial Home, Mentone, Indiana.

Memorial contributions can be made in David’s memory to the Seward Township/ Burket Volunteer Fire Department.
