Diana C. Waech, 76, of Mentone, passed at 9:28 p.m. Saturday Jan. 14, 2023 at her residence.

Diana was born Aug. 17, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Clara (Lamz) Marohn. She married on May 11, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Victor D. Waech.

She graduated from High School in the Chicago area. Diana was a homemaker who lovingly and faithfully cared for her family. She was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. Diana enjoyed spending time in her garden, caring for her plants and the local wildlife. She was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Victor of Mentone, child Nick and his wife Andrea, grandchildren Austin, Sarina, Elliana and Piper along with nieces and nephews.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carolyn Lueth.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 at King Memorial Home, 101 North Tucker Street, Mentone, Indiana with Rev. Curtis May officiating. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m.

A private interment will take place in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana.
