Billy G. Fritz, 84, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Creasy Springs Health Campus in Lafayette. 

He was born on July 1, 1938 in Winamac, IN to the late Raymond E. and Opal R. [White] Fritz. 

Billy graduated from Pulaski High School. 

On February 23, 1974, he married the love of his life, Barbara A. Bisher in Monticello, IN. 

Billy owned and operated Bill’s Auto Body in rural Beaver Township for many years.  From working for others to working for himself, he did body work for nearly 40 years. 

Billy was a member of Northern Indiana Power from the Past.  He enjoyed rebuilding and displaying antique engines. 

Billy enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.  He will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be from 12 Noon – 2 PM EST Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM EST Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Frain Mortuary in Winamac, IN with Rev. Edward Clark officiating. 

Burial will take place at Paul’s Chapel Cemetery in Winamac, IN.
