James W. Feuquay, Jr., 78, of Winamac

James W. Feuquay, Jr., 78, of Winamac, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at his home, surrounded by family.

He was born on October 29, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN, to the late James Feuquay, Sr. and Helen (Fetch) Feuquay.  After completing his education James served in the United States Air Force for four years until being honorably discharged. He later met and married the love of his life Linda Brennan and together they spent over 50 wonderful years by each other’s sides; raising their family and watching their children and then grandchildren grow.

James took pride in his work as a OTR truck driver and was on the roads for 35 years prior to retirement. James had many joys in life, he was a huge motorsports fan and enjoyed watching races, truck and tractor pulls, and visiting different race tracks. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his youth camping, however his greatest joy in life was the time he spent with his family and friends, who will all miss him very much.

James is survived by his wife, Linda Feuquay of Winamac; sons, Eric (Angie) Feuquay of Pulaski, IN, and  Ronald James (Teri) Thompson of Leiters Ford, IN; daughters, Kristine (Wayne) Dye, and Kandace Feuquay; brother, Jerry (Shelly) Feuquay; as well as 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Joseph Feuquay; and his brother, David Feuquay.

Funeral services are pending at this time and will be announced at a later date.
