Robert "Bobby" David Tuttle, 27, of Rochester

Robert “Bobby” David Tuttle, 27, of Rochester, passed July 15, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne following complications from a car accident.

Bobby was born on July 10, 1996 in South Bend, Indiana to David Wayne and Debra Ann (Castleman) Tuttle. He was a 2015 graduate of Argos High School, where he was very active in FFA. Many knew Bobby was free spirited and was known for his kind heart and ability to care for livestock. His favorite thing was spending time with his friends and family.

He worked for numerous farms in the area, which included AMVC as a swine specialist. He also worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts, where he had been a store manager, and most recently for PBS Truck Parts of Rochester.

Bobby also volunteered, helping his close friend Mike Jones, at Tippecanoe Valley with FFA. He assisted in parliamentary procedures, poultry, and chaperoned numerous FFA trips. He was a member of the Culver Young Farmers. He loved to work on cars and trucks, going off-roading, camping, and collecting nerf guns. He always had a heart for children, especially the nieces and nephews, who he adored. Bobby gave the gift of life to others after his passing as an organ donor.

Surviving is his girlfriend and love of his life Missy Golden, DVM of Argos; mother Debra Tuttle of Rochester; siblings Daylene Byers and husband Brett of Rochester, Scott Tuttle and wife Samantha of Rochester, and Lacee White and husband Damien, of Lakeville; niece and nephews Brayden, Alivia, Eres, Easton, Wesley, Callen, and Destin; maternal grandmother Carol Bitterling of Rochester; uncle Dennis Castleman of California; uncle Rich Tuttle of North Manchester; aunt Rose Krull and Dan of Rochester; Dede and husband Jeff Crum of Culver; numerous cousins; and his girlfriend’s parents Sam Jr. and Michelle Golden of Argos.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father David, and grandparents Robert Bradway, Richard and Ann Tuttle, and Alan Bitterling.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Hartzler Funeral Home 305 West Rochester Street Akron, Indiana with Pastor Steve Wilhelm and Pastor Rod Ruberg officiating. Casual dress is requested and bring your nerf gun for a final salute to Bobby.

Memorial visitation will be held from 12 noon to the time of the service at the funeral home.

The future remembrance place will be in the Athens Cemetery, Athens, Indiana.
