Alan F. Keiser, 54 of Kewanna

Alan F. Keiser, 54 of Kewanna, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 22, 2023 at his residence.

Born on July 14, 1969 in Gary, he was the son of the late Harold Keiser and Marlene (Zulegar) Childers.

He was a Knox High School graduate, Class of 88 rocks! Alan formerly worked at JSI Steel in Winamac.

 Alan loved being outdoors, and being with his friends and family, his pride and joy was his children and grandchildren. He always lit up a room when he walked in and everyone loved his obnoxious sense of humor.  His favorite holiday was the Fourth of July.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca A. Keiser of Kewanna, children, Natasha Davis (Josh), Angelica Daugherty (Devin), Becca Keiser (Codey Dalka), Alan F. Keiser II and Jessica Hope Redlin (TJ), grandchildren, Devin Tyler Daugherty II, Emma Daugherty, Kaiden Daugherty, Summer Daugherty, Bentley Davis, Bella Davis, Noah Davis, Trinity Davis, Kimmy Davis, Londynn Dalka, Mav Redlin, Jaxon Redlin and one on the way.

He is also survived by siblings, Harold “Bud” Keiser (Bunny), Donny Keiser (Val), Gwen Adams, Melody O’Bryant (Martin), Gidget Booth (Glenn), Ty Brody (Shannon), Connie Keiser, Carrie Keiser, Jay Keiser, Chucky Keiser and Cindney Keiser, mother and father-in-law, Deborah and Billy Crider, brothers-in-law, Brian Hurt, Jerry Hurt and Jimmy Mosley and sister-in-law, Melissa Hurt.

He was also preceded in death by sister, Kathy Brody and sister-in law, Crystal Mullins.

Services will be at 4:00 p.m., Monday, July 31, 2023 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, Kewanna.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
