Mary Nadine Ripley, 80, of Wabash, and formerly of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Indianapolis passed at 5:37 pm, Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 at Autumn Ridge Rehabilitation Centre of Wabash.
Nadine was born on Nov. 14, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Carl F. and Dorothy (Hall) Mattingly. She was a 1961 graduate of Scecina Memorial High School of Indianapolis. She married on April 27, 1963 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John R. Ripley, who preceded her in death on May 11, 2019.
Nadine worked for Western Electric, Indianapolis Public Schools, and Biodynamics of Castleton, Indiana. She was a member of the Saint Bernard Catholic Church of Wabash. But most of all she was a homemaker, raising her family. She was an avid sewer and quilter, all by hand. She loved her pets, but her family was everything to her.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa and husband Mike Sheehan of Denver, Ind.; sons Richard and wife Wendy Ripley and John Ripley both of Mustang, Oklahoma; grandchildren Beth and husband Sam Thomas, Erin and husband Dylan Robb, Craig Sheehan and partner Kirbey Brewer, Carl Ripley, and Lucas Ripley; Great Grandchildren Oliver and Charlotte; and a sister Carla Tharpe of Trafalgar, Indiana.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, brother Dale Mattingly, and a sister Nancy Piercy.
Following her wishes no service will be held at this time.
