Timothy L. Grosvenor 74, Rochester, passed away at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on July 3, 1949 in Goshen, Indiana, the son of Calvin and Donna Jean “Donnie” (Cretcher) Grosvenor Metheny. On March 28, 1991 in the Grand Bahama Islands, he married Lynne (Tribbett) Osborn and she survives.
Tim started his professional career as co-owner, along with his brother Tom, at Rochester Cement Products. After becoming an EMT in 1974, he spent much of his career as a Paramedic serving Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana, Logansport Memorial Hospital and Pulaski County Emergency Medical Services. He had spent a short stint as a traveling Paramedic in Boca Raton, Florida. As part of his medical career, he enjoyed training others on CPR and becoming Emergency Medical Technicians.
Tim had been a member of the Mill Creek Church and the Rochester Jaycees, where he directed the Junior Miss program. In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling, genealogy, and photography.
Survivors include his wife, Lynne Grosvenor, Rochester, Indiana, children, Anjanette (Michael) Paul, Chicago, Illinois, Byron (Jennifer) Osborn, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Marji (Josh Pike) Osborn, Rochester, Indiana, Lincoln (Carrie) Osborn, Plymouth, Indiana, foster-son, Dustin (Cori) Meid, Farmersburg, Indiana, grandchildren, Anna Osborn, Byron Osborn, Lily Johnson, Timmy Johnson, William Johnson, Chase Thomas, Megan Thomas, Jaxs Pike, Matthew Osborn, Taylor Medina, Tanner Medina, Aleasia Sarver, Tucker Sarver, Reine Whippo, Brice Meid, five great grandchildren, sisters, Deb (Lonnie Evans) Grosvenor, Logansport, Indiana, Peg (Grosvenor) Howell, Rochester, Indiana, brother-in-law, Allen (Andi) Tribbett, Royal Center, Indiana, sister-in-law, Valerie Grosvenor, Rochester, Indiana, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Janice Grosvenor, brother, Thomas Grosvenor, step-daughter, Christina Osborn, and step-father, Wayne Metheny.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 3, 2023, at Mill Creek Church, Rochester, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, Indiana and one hour prior to service Friday at the church.
Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville, Indiana.
