Kelly D. Crandall, 60, of Monticello, formerly of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on March 6, 1963 in Provo, UT to Kent C. and Patsy A. [Mahoney] Crandall.
Kelly graduated in 1981 from West High School in Sioux City, IA. He attended BYU for a year and later graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995. On December 12, 2015, he married Melody A. Coggins at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.
Kelly was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He served a two year mission for the Church in Quebec, Canada. Kelly worked as a solutions engineer for Verizon Business for many years.
Kelly was an avid woodworker, reader, and writer. He loved the outdoors, especially the mountains of Utah. He enjoyed coaching Jeff’s sports teams as well as sharing music with Claire. His dogs Aspen and Mia were his constant companions. Kelly was always helping others and lived to make life better for those he loved.

Cremation will take place at Frain Crematory in Winamac.
Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EST Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EST Friday, December 1, 2023 at Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville.
