Mrs. Mary Jane Beliles, 77, of Bourbon

Mrs. Mary Jane Beliles, 77, of Bourbon, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at 11:08 AM on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at her home. 

Taking the hand of our precious Lord, Mary Jane experienced the healing waters.

On August 6, 1947, Mary Jane Bradley was born in Rochester to Rev. Henry and Hildegard Eichler Bradley. Growing up on the farm she shared her childhood with 2 sisters Barb and Joan and two brothers Erve and Chuck.

Mary Jane and Donnie Ray Beliles were married on February 20, 1965, in Silver Lake. They have shared 59 years of life’s adventures. From their union came two daughters and four sons. The added blessings of two more generations have been added to the family tree with arrival of the grandchildren and the great-grands.

As a homemaker, Mary Jane cherished the time with her family. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting gifts of warmth and gardening. Directing the planting and the harvest of the big truck patch was an annual event back in the day. Being self-taught, Mary Jane played the piano and guitar many times adding vocals.   As the matriarch of the family, she was also the lead vocalist for The Beliles Family Singers, sharing the word of the Lord through gospel music.  She was a member and volunteer at God’s Highway to Heaven Pentecostal Church of Warsaw.

Left to cherish  Mary Jane's memory are her husband, Don, two daughters, Cynthia Lynn Robbins and husband David of Warsaw, Pamela Long of Inwood;  three sons, David Allen Beliles and wife Tina of  Mentone, Jason Beliles and wife Julie of Sellersburg,  Adam Beliles and wife Julie of Warsaw; 25 grandchildren;     28 great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara R. Tam and husband Brad of Fulton, Joan Bradley of Rochester, two brothers, Chuck Bradley and wife Christine of Rochester, Rev. Erve Bradley and wife Dee of Hamlet and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mary Jane in death are her parents and infant son Donnie Ray Beliles in 1971.

A celebration of the life of Mary Jane Beliles will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 18, 2024, in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester.    Pastor Bob Brown will officiate.  

Friends may visit with the family from 1-3 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024 and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Sycamore Cemetery.
