11 Rochester Zebras recognized with TRC postseason honors

Rochester’s terrific football season has been further enhanced with ten players receiving Three Rivers Conference honors.

 

Head coach Ron Shaffer offers a comment about each of the following selections to the All TRC.

 

Four Zebras were named to the All TRC Offense led by leading rusher Alex Deming.  The junior rushed for 1619 yards for an average of 134.9 / game.  Deming’s 28 touchdowns also led the Zebras.

 

 

Not too surprisingly, a team that rushed for over 350 yards / game also placed three offensive linemen on the All TRC Offense. 

 

Senior Austin Rogers.

 

 

Senior Hunter Shriver.

 

 

Junior Brady Beck.

 

 

Four Rochester Zebras were also named to the All TRC Defense.

 

Senior defensive lineman Ethan Brock registered 46 tackles and five tackles for loss this season.  Also, with a fumble recovery and fumble caused.

 

 

Junior linebacker Colton Ferveda had 47 tackles and four for loss with an interception.

 

 

Freshman defensive back Brant Beck topped the tackle chart with 92 total and 58 solo.

 

 

Senior Payton Luhnow finished the season with 37 tackles and a fumble recovery.

 

 

Junior kicker Parker Wallace connected on two field goals and 28 extra point conversions.
