Rochester girls basketball with fourth straight win

Rochester opened up a double-digit halftime lead and cruised to a win over Winamac on Saturday, 40-19.

 

The Z’s had two players in double-figures.  Rily Holloway led all scorers with 13 points and Emma Howdeshell added 11.

 

Piper Link topped the Winamac scoring effort with eight points.  Leading scorer Kandace Kroft was held to a single three-point field goal in the second quarter.

 

Rochester (4-4) has climbed back to .500 with a four-game win streak.  The Zebras host Culver on Wednesday.

 

Winamac (0-8) travels to West Central on Tuesday.
