Caston pulled away in the fourth quarter to win the Cass County Tournament championship game in a battle of unbeatens with Pioneer, 45-32.
Isabel Scales was named Tournament MVP. She came up two assists shy of a triple-double in the championship, 14 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.
Bailey Harness and Addison Zimpleman also were named to the All Tournament team. Harness scored ten points to go with eight rebounds in the championship game. Zimpleman chipped in nine points.
#3 (1A) Caston will take a 9-0 record into a Thursday game at North Judson (6-3) and then host #17 (1A) Triton (7-3) on Saturday afternoon.
Pioneer suffered its first loss to fall to 6-1.

Rochester's Emma Howdeshell scored 15 points but it wasn't enough in a TRC loss to Southwood (5-2, 1-1 TRC).
Rochester (5-5, 2-1 TRC) will play Argos on Thursday.
Tippecanoe Valley (8-2, 2-0 TRC) opened the game with a 27-8 first quarter and never looked back in a TRC win over Wabash, 67-29.
Kaydence Mellott led all scorers with 20. Teammates Lily Ault had 18 and Corinna Stiles with 10.
