Addison Zimpleman and Isabel Scales both produced a double-double as the Caston Lady Comets held off Peru to win the Miami County Tournament, 51-47.

Third-ranked (1A) Caston had three players score in double figures. Zimpleman led the Comets with 16.  Scales added 14 and Harness scored 11.

Zimpleman pulled down 12 rebounds with Scales grabbing 11.  Harness added six boards for the Comets (15-0).

Caston will travel to 11^th-ranked (1A) Clinton Central (12-2) on Tuesday.

Peru claimed the boys Miami County championship with a win over Caston, 61-34.

The 7^th-ranked (3A) Tigers upped Peru’s record to 8-1.

Caston (2-6) was led in scoring by Cain Schanlaub  and Caleb Stinson 10 points each.
