One planned street project in Rochester is now stalled despite the fact that Community Crossing grant money was earmarked for it.

Rochester Mayor Ted Denton says inflation during these economic times have hamstringed efforts at the project.  The Community Crossing grant is no longer enough to meet the costs.

The mayor says INDOT has heard from other communities regarding similar circumstances.  For now, the project will wait.
