The Fulton County Community Foundation granted $10,300 to the American Legion Post 36 to help them fund a new blacktop for their parking lot.

Post 36, located in Rochester, was established in 1919 as a place for veterans to gather. They also provide several community services such as Honor Guard for funerals, flag burning ceremonies, Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies, and many others.
