The Argos Water Department contiinues to flush hydrants this week. 

Town residents may see brown water coming from their water faucets.  If this happens, run the cold water only for several minutes until it clears.  If the brown water doesn’t clear up after 10 minutes or so, call the Water Department and report the issue.

NOTE:  If you turn on your hot water to clear the brown water issue, you will be bringing the brown water into your hot water tank. 

The Argos Water Department also announced on Tuesday that they are upgrading older water meters in town.  This requires a town employee to enter your home.  The town asks that you be accommodating to the process which only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
